dicto brings its App Store presence to twelve languages

NEWARK, Del. · July 23, 2026

BHB Technologies today completed a global expansion of dicto, its speech-display app for iPhone and iPad, bringing the App Store listing to twelve languages with localized screenshots for every storefront.

dicto turns speech into large, clear text in real time, so people with hearing loss can stay in the conversation. With version 1.2, the full App Store presence, including descriptions, keywords, and screenshots captured in each language, is available in English, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), and Spanish (Spain and Latin America). The dicto website, speechdisplay.com, is already available in eleven languages, and dictation itself supports more than 50 spoken languages and dialects through Apple's on-device speech recognition.

"Hearing loss is universal, and help for it should not be locked to English or behind a high price or subscription. If a family in Seoul or São Paulo needs what dicto does, the store shelf should speak their language," said Brent Burgess, founder of BHB Technologies.

dicto is available on the App Store for $0.99, one time, with no subscriptions, no ads, no tracking, and no user accounts.
